During my course at the university of Gloucestershire I have used many different photographic techniques and equipment. I have been trained to use 5x4 large format camera, Medium format and 35mm. Printing and developing film, scanning film and using Photoshop up to CS2. Also with the co-ordination of companies such as Hasselblad and Phase One I have the knowledge to use the more modern cameras such as the Phase One P 45 back along with the Capture One software. Phase One have also asked me to test their new camera in relation to long exposures and painting with light due to take place in September 2007. My fellow students work and mine is exhibited at the Gloucestershire Constabulary building in Quedgely Gloucester, which I curated as part of my course. Some of my photography has been use to advertise a photography competition called Gloucester 1000 as a celebration of 1000 years of Gloucestershire. A selection of my images were also short listed, from my University group, for use in the June 2007 Issue of Photography Monthly who wrote a piece on our degree show exhibition. I have been an active committee member in the Unleashed 2007 group, who were responsible for the organisation of our degree exhibition activities. Unleashed 2007 have exhibited at Focus on Imaging at the NEC Birmingham and more recently at the Covent Garden Film studios in London, endorsed and sponsored by Canon, Phase One, Velmex, Photography Monthly, Fuji Film, Peter Jones TV and Half Minute Media. More recently my portfolio has been short listed for the Nikon Discovery Award.
