I am looking for an opportunity to break into photography to try something new and fantastic. I have always had a creative streak, which I feel would serve me well in photography. I was always inspired by photographs growing up, whether it was in magazines, newspapers, journals or books. Being an assistant to a photographer would be the perfect opportunity for me to gain actual work experience. Photography has been a hobby of mine that I have developed for a long time and now I am putting in a concentrated efforted in to increasing my technical understanding and ability. I have started studying an iPhoto online course, which is giving me an understanding of the technical theory and carrying out photographic assignments. When I first started to develop my passion as a hobby I mainly focused on landscape shots in my local area, which happened to be quite scenic. I was trying to teach myself to get an eye for a shot and wait patiently for the right time to take a the picture. I derided a great sense of satisfaction from this and tried to analyse my photographs. Therefore I am seeking a creative environment as an outlet to develop my skills and this role seems a perfect opportunity. My friendliness and confidence make people feel at ease and able to put their trust in me. My exposure to wide cross section of the public has enabled me to quickly build rapports with them and through empathy I can connect with people. I feel this would be useful when liaising with clients. I have strong interpersonal skills and my organisational ability would help me devise and propose more efficient ways of working.
